For the third time Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi is on the ATSX Ice Cross World Championship calendar, having twice fallen victim to the Covid pandemic.

MONT DU LAC, WI (United States). After a three-year break from racing, Maxwell Dunne made an impressive comeback by winning the third stop of the ATSX Ice Cross World Championship at Mont du Lac Ski Resort in Wisconsin, USA.
JUDENBURG, Austria. Michael Urban and Veronika Windisch were in top form once again as they repeated their wins from the first race of the 2022 ATSX Ice Cross World Championship at the Winterleiten race track above the Styrian city of Judenburg.
JUDENBURG, Austria - Czech routineer Michael Urban came out on top at the season opener in Judenburg on Sunday, winning an exciting final ahead of Great Britain’s Robin Worling and local hero Luca Dallago. Reigning World Champion Veronika Windisch took the spoils in the women’s final ahead of France’s Amandine Condroyer and fellow Austrian Alice Zenz.
New year, new season. Ice Cross is launching the new World Championship season with two races in Judenburg, Austria on the 15./16. and 22./23. January 2022. The well known race track is almost ready and the registration is open!

The Finns had prepared the Rautalampi track all winter, they had trained extensively on it, and eventually they managed to organize a stop on the Ice Cross calendar, but no spectator was allowed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ice Cross season has started, in 4 different locations, and over 150 riders from 15 different countries managed to race either in Igora (Russia), Judenburg (Austria), where two events were organized in 8 days, or Mont-du-Lac (USA) while respecting all sanitary protocols imposed by the global Covid-19 pandemic.
