it depends on the race level, the higher the level of race, the higher the level of services provided. At the at the 1000points races, F&B, sharpening and physio services and training are included and there are also no registration fees since you must be invited. However transportation to the venue, visa and accommodation costs will always be at your own expenses.
The list of provided services will be available in the Athlete’s Welcome Letter of each race. The Welcome Letters are downloadable in the information section of each event in the “Calendar & Results” on data.atssx.org after you registered.
For the first season ever, all competition levels will offer prize money for the 3 cetegories (Men, Women and Juniors). The higher the race level, the higher the prize money. In addition to this, you can expect to win Trophies/Medals for the Top riders of each race by category and there’s also World Championship Prize Money and related trophies.
No, you have to choose which country you wish to represent. You can only represent a country if you own valid citizenship of that country at the time of the race. Changes of nation in the system are possible, with the presentation of corresponding valid documentation from the new nation, however nation can only be changed once. So please consider this carefully.
Strong ice skating background in addition to pumptrack training and cross sports skills are fundamentals to the sport of Ice Cross.
Every registered athete will have to sign a liability waiver for each race before stepping onto the ice and once completed return it to the organizer (bring it completed to the accreditation desk).
Note: Juniors have a separate Junior Disclaimer wich must be signed by their legal guardian (even if over 18) prior to the race. A Junior cometing in bothe Junior and Senior Categories will have to return both documents completed.
